An abstract, large-format painting in green - by Mark Hellbusch.

Painted with a  mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn't quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so it is  experimental painting. The result is a large-format, abstract painting.

Spatiality through the alteration of color dots and strokes.

To control the spatial effect, the throwing of colors and thus the color gradient is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application is repeated with different colors until a natural  variety in color and structure emerges. Mainly green, but also yellow, red, blue, brown, and white  mix here in a complex way and create a perceptible spatiality through their varying lengths of gradients (dot-like and small at the top of the picture, stroke-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. 

An interesting long-distance effect with structural and color variety in the image.

Despite the many colors, "Claim 90" is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (structural and color variety). The painting is  signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can thus be presented with two nails in the wall.
