Experimental Painting - The Color Toss Leads to Abstraction.

It was painted with a Mixed mediaconsisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn't quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so it is experimental painting. The result is a large-format abstract painting.

Structural and Color Diversity in the Image - The size of the color dots and strokes, as well as changes in brightness, determine spatial perception.

To control the spatial effect, the application of color and the gradient are repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application is repeated with different colors until a natural effect is achieved. Diversityin color and texture is created. Especially the complementary colors orange and blue, but also yellow, Indian yellow, red, blue, brown, and whitemerge here in complex ways and create a perceivable spatiality through their varying lengths (dots and small at the top of the image, lines and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unfamiliar, abstract manner. Additionally, there is a subtle change in brightness. The further down you go in the image, the more vibrant the colors become. This creates the impression of standing in front of a meadow or a field.

A modern ambiance for your living space with the large-format picture "Claim 91".

Despite the many colors, "Claim"91Its effect is rather subtle and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The composition is very minimalistic and is entirely created through experimenting with color application. Those who appreciate the colors and structures will be pleasantly surprised by the effect: it instantly creates a very modern ambiance in the living space.

Interesting Facts About the Painting.

"Claim 91" is signedAdditionally, the edges are painted white. The artwork can be immediately displayed with just two nails in the wall. The painting doesn't need a frame or varnish, but it can have one if you prefer. I can apply a varnish before shipping if you'd like. You can choose between matte, semi-matte, or glossy finishes. However, I don't necessarily recommend it. The mixed media technique creates varying degrees of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. Additionally, the paints sold today are almost non-yellowing. For framing, I recommend a specialty store near you.

The photos you see above were taken by me to the best of my ability. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original. There might also be room for improvement in lighting or sharpness. I strive to provide an authentic representation of the paintings. However, you are welcome to visit me at the studio or ARTLET to see the originals.

Free shipping of the picture.
