The Color Throw: Between Art and Design.
The round canvas of the painting "Splash 20" has a diameter of 80 cm. The painting is created using mixed media techniques. Both acrylic and lacquer paints were used. The modern approach of this art comes from the use of a "painting machine"—a modified drill—and experimenting with the color throw. The result is initially design, which only becomes "abstract" through the context of the work process.
Colorful paints are thrown simultaneously.
The round canvas was initially primed black. Then, colorful paints were thrown onto the canvas simultaneously: red, yellow, orange, white, green, pink, violet, and blue. The rotation of the canvas creates slight distortions in the paint streaks and the formation of outward-directed paint lines that partially mix with the streaks.
An abstract-looking painting from the Art & Design category.
The painting "Splash 20" initially appears abstract. However, "abstract" is a flexible term that is more applicable to the work process here. For me personally, the result of theshort, entertaining experimentis at the forefront. Besides the joy of execution, during the painting process, I engage with form and color compositions, breaks, and dynamics. This engagement can traditionally be attributed to Art & Design.
Since a lot can go wrong during experimentation, I often start over—and only get a little annoyed....
Decorate your living space or office with the lightness of a Splash painting.
The Splash painting creates a pleasant, very positive atmosphere. The lightness is primarily achieved through the elegance and grace of the forms and colors. Decorate any room at a very convincing price.
The Splash paintings are round and relatively light. To hang them, you only need a nail in the wall. If you're interested in multiple paintings, you can playfully arrange them in rows or clusters.
