"Organic Grounds" - modern, purely experimental art - emerged from the further development of the "Splash!" theme. It was a response to a comment made by a painting student when she saw my round Splash paintings: "Damien Hirst has been doing that for 30 years."

"It appears gracefully spatial. Up close, it offers a lot of structure and color. I see nature and cultivated land, meadow, field, a piece of land that someone has staked out for themselves. For this, I throw the paint in a controlled manner and in many different consistencies and layers. Until a spatial impression emerges from the color chaos."
