A source of inspiration: "City Stroll" - an abstract painting from the series "The Paintbox."

The mental leaps that the paint box as a symbol generates often lead viewers toward childhood. The title "City Stroll" is an invitation to steer one's own associations in a different direction, without losing the personal touch. Over time, these inspirations can change and develop a great variety. Thus, the paint box becomes a source of truly individual inspiration.

The canvas as the foundation for the paint box.

The paint box was constructed from cotton, stretcher frames, small picture frames, and different types of moldings. The moldings were glued to the canvas and secured from behind with staples and screws. To create the most realistic surface possible, the paint containers are Primed with adhesive concrete and thick layers of acrylic paint sealed with glue afterward.

Acrylic and oil paints, adhesive concrete, and glue were used for the processing and painting of the artwork.

Modern painting on the wall object.

With my experimental painting on the oversized paint box, a modern sculpture for the wall is created. Through the juxtaposition of graceful, sometimes very contrasting color surfaces, Tension fields in form and colorOn one side are bright colors, which can be seen in slightly altered forms on almost every paint box: white, yellow, orange, red, green, brown, violet, and black. On the other side, the "used" paint box compartments and the colored border area: here appear white, the warm colors yellow and orange, as well as the cooler colors violet and blue. The spatial effect of the contrasting colors is further enhanced by the resulting shadows of the wall object.

The paint box - a beautiful, abstract image

Through the juxtaposition of graceful color surfaces, abstract tension fields in form and color emerge. Through the experimental painting on the oversized paint box, a beautiful image as a wall sculpture is created. The result of the experimental painting, the symbolic power of the paint box, and the assistance of a title ("Stadtbummel") invite association. Once triggered, the imagination can be stimulated in a variety of ways for the viewer.

Interesting facts about the presentation of the painting "Stadtbummel."

There is no "up" or "down," the painting can be displayed in any orientation. Therefore, the painting is signed on the back. You achieve optimal presentation when there is enough space around the painting. The width of the wall surface should be at least 2 and at most 5 meters.
