Painted with a Mixed media, consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn't quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so this is actually about experimental painting.

To control the spatial effect, the color application and thus the color gradient are repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of color is repeated with different colors until a natural effect is achieved. Diversityin color and texture arises. Primarily orange, but also red and yellow, with small amounts of green, blue, black, and white....blend together here in a complex manner, creating a perceivable spatiality through their varying lengths (dot-like and small at the top of the image, line-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. The painting produces a work of art in orange - perfect for an atmospheric living space.
