The seemingly chaotic application of color creates a large-format "organic" field that is "staked out" by the size of the painting.
Experimental painting with the throwing of paint leads to abstraction.
Painted with a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and lacquer. However, the term "painted" does not quite apply to this technique. The paints were more thrown and splattered, so this is experimental painting.
Painting for the living space - in orange.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint and thus the flow of color is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Mainly orange, but also red and yellow as well as small amounts of green, blue, black, and white mix here in a complex way and create a perceivable spatiality due to their different lengths of flow (dot-like and small at the top of the picture, stroke-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. The painting creates an artwork in orange - perfect for an atmospheric living space.
Interesting facts about the painting "Claim 100."
Despite the many colors, "Claim 100" is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The painting is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be immediately presented - with two nails in the wall.
