Experimental Painting - The color throw leads to decorative abstraction.
The painting was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn't quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, making it experimental painting. The result is an abstract, decorative painting.
Structure and color diversity in the image - The size of the color dots and strokes, as well as the change in brightness, determine the spatial perception.
To control the spatial effect, the color throw and thus the color gradient are repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Especially the complementary colors orange, light blue, dark blue, but also yellow, Indian yellow, red, magenta, and white mix here in a complex way and create a perceptible spatiality through their varying lengths (dot-like and small at the top of the image, line-like and large at the bottom). The viewer's gaze repeatedly gets caught on the pattern-free structures, stimulating them in an unusual, abstract way. Additionally, there is a subtle change in brightness. The further down you go in the image, the stronger the colors become. This gives the impression of standing in front of a meadow or at the edge of a field.
Decoration for a modern ambiance.
Despite the many colors, "Claim 105" is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (structure and color diversity). The composition is very minimalistic and is completely created through experimenting with the color throw. Those who like the colors and structures will be very surprised by the effect: a very modern ambiance is instantly created in the living space through the decoration.
Interesting facts about painting.
"Claim 105" is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can thus be immediately presented - with two nails in the wall. The painting doesn't need a frame or varnish - but it can, of course. I would apply a varnish for you before shipping. You can choose one in matte, satin matte, or glossy. However, I don't necessarily recommend it. The painting creates a varying degree of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. Moreover, the colors sold today are almost non-yellowing. For the frame, I recommend a visit to a specialty store near you.
The photos of the painting you see above were taken by me - as best as I could. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original. Here and there, the lighting or sharpness could certainly be better. I strive to provide an authentic image of the paintings. However, you are welcome to visit me in the studio or at ARTLET to see the original.
The free shipping of the painting.
The delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding area) or the shipping of the artwork usually takes place on Tuesdays and is free of charge. If needed, another appointment can be arranged. During the (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery breaks are communicated in the header of the homepage.
