The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates a large-scale "organic" field, "staked out" by the size of the picture.
Experimental painting leads to an abstract landscape.
Painted with a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and lacquer. However, the term "painted" does not quite fit this technique. The paints were more thrown and splattered, so it is experimental painting, which through the painting process leads to an abstract landscape.
Above all, earthy colors for the living space.
To control the spatial effect, the color application and thus the color gradient is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of color is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Above all, ochre, but also brown, red, yellow, orange, blue, black, and white mix here in a complex way, creating a perceptible spatiality through their varying lengths of gradients (dot-like and small at the top of the image, line-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly catches on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. This creates a painting with predominantly earthy colors for the atmospheric living space.
Interesting facts about the painting "Claim 108."
Despite the many colors, "Claim 108" is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (structural and color variety).
"Claim 108" is signed, and the edges are painted white.
