"RE 1"is the result of a creative experiment and an interesting example of contemporary art. This wall object, created in 2012, showcases old brushes, tubes, rollers, and more, arranged behind glass and frame. The vibrant, dry colors uniquely blend with the original wood of the utensils. The vertical and dense arrangement creates a harmonious symphony of colors and textures.

This contrast refers to the use of old brushes, tubes, and rollers in a contemporary artwork. I strive to find a balance between old and new approaches, order and chaos, as well as color and darkness. This process of seeking harmony amidst opposites is often a central theme in art and life itself, and "Remnants of an Experiment 1" expresses this universal challenge.






Interesting facts about the painting "RE 1".

Despite its many colors, "RE 1" has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (structure and color diversity). The painting is signedand the frame is also painted white. The artwork can be displayed immediately with just two nails in the wall.

Free shipping.

Delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding areas) or shipping of the artwork usually takes place on Tuesdays and is free of charge. If needed, an alternative date can be arranged. During school holidays (in Hesse), there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses will be communicated in the homepage header. Shipping within Germany is free.
