The experimental landscape painting "Marsfeld LIV" measures 30 x 24 cm and is made from leftover paint and binder. The leftover paint used for this artwork is colorful. Acrylic paints, oil paints, and varnish remnants interact in various colors, shapes, and sizes. The paint remnants consist of paint chunks ranging from about 0.1 cm to 0.2 cm in diameter. From a distance, the piece initially appears to depict an earthy or sandy surface. However, as you take a few steps closer to the painting, you realize that it is completely colorful and made up of tiny remnants of paint. The abstract painting becomes more concrete the longer you look at it: thoughts of wind, water, and natural erosion come to mind.
A compact format for niche spaces.
"Marsfeld LIV" is most impressive in a bright room. The unique spatiality - the haptic (three-dimensional) combined with the contrasts (two-dimensional) - creates something special. Ambiancewhich can only be gradually understood. The spatial effect is extremely subtle, giving this picture a very fine, elegant, and stimulating quality that you can purchase at an affordable price. As a standalone piece, the small format works well in a niche within the room.
Mars fields can also be beautifully displayed in vertical or horizontal rows.
This type of modern art isn't accessible to everyone. Nevertheless, the outcome of experimental painting can spark curiosity. The juxtaposition of old(Paint residue)and new(Painting)and the Title "Mars Field" - incidentally, a place of political conflict in ancient Rome - evokes associations with the terms "Mars" and "field."
