"Martina" from the photo series "Green at the End" features greenColor Fields. The Greenconsists partly of lighter, partly of darker layers of color. They create a subtle, abstract composition reminiscent of the shadow of a storm depression. The painting looks very modern and needs good lighting to fully unfold.

A modern painting in green: Between the composition and the title of the painting, the abstract becomes concrete.

The dark green areas in the painting resemble clouds. In an abstract form, they show the shadows cast by the clouds of a low-pressure area. Ultimately, the shadows of a massive, moving cyclone. They appear powerful, dynamic, and at the same time threatening.

Each modern painting in the series 'In the End Green' bears a common first name as its title: in this case 'Martina.' The connection between humans and nature becomes particularly clear here. Because 'Martina' could just as easily be used to name the next low-pressure area. Thus, the abstract can be associated with something very concrete.

An optimal presentation of the modern painting on canvas requires a lot of light.

Properly presented, the paintings in the series 'In the End Green' can look very elegant and modern. Unlike paintings with high contrasts, the eye can only grasp this type of painting if it can perceive the color depth in combination with the fine structures in all its details. Enough light is therefore really necessary. A wall that is at least bright during the day or a spotlight can help bring out the elegant appearance of the modern, abstract painting to its full potential.

Complex structures in the painting: the priming of the picture.

The priming was built up from thick, colorful layers of acrylic paint. In addition, leaves and branches as well as their imprints can be seen everywhere. This creates an organic haptic that also remains after the painting - sometimes clearly, sometimes subtly. After drying, the primed pictures are sanded with sandpaper and sealed with a binder. Only then does the painting on the picture begin.

The color green stands for nature and nature stands for us.

In very fine layers, different shades of green, ocher, brown, yellow, and blue are applied. After a few layers of paint, a green color depth emerges, elegantly blending with the complex structures from the priming. The green is reminiscent of the complexity of nature. Nature, in turn, symbolizes ourselves.

Interesting facts about the modern landscape 'Martina.'

Despite the many colors, the painting 'Martina' is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both in its distant effect (perception of spatiality) and in its close effect (variety of structures and colors in greenish tones).

The glazes ensure a high color depth.

The painting 'Martina' is signedadditionally, the edges are painted greenish. The artwork can therefore be presented immediately - with two nails in the wall. A varnish has already been applied. If you prefer to have a frame made for the painting, I recommend visiting a specialty store near you.

The presentation of the painting is authentic but not perfect.

The shots you see above were taken by me - as best I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original. Here and there, the lighting or resolution could certainly be better. I strive for an authentic image of the paintings.

The photos showing the painting in the room were generated using the 'Smartist' app. This app can frame paintings and allows for a neat, chic presentation in different rooms. The size ratio of painting to room is accurately reproduced. The painting is sold without a frame..
