The colorful painting shows an abstract animal motif: The hare from graceful color fields.

"Rare Hare" from the series "From the Light" shows colorful graceful color fields, strokes, paint drops, and imprints from water-mixable oil paint. The color fields create a abstract composition that simultaneously suggests a hare. The lightness in the painting is primarily created by the reduced painting style.

The lightness of the painting leads to the magical.

The lightness of the painting is created by the brightness of the white primed canvas combined with the colorful, gracefully applied color fields. These result in an stimulating, seemingly random composition. The grace of the color fields is very crucial for the calm yet stimulating perception of the composition, as they allow the viewer to shift perspectives even after prolonged viewing. Parts of the color fields determine the shape of the hare, while the colors - partially - reflect the spatiality. The magic arises between the concrete outline of the animal and the abstract composition of the color fields.

The viewing of the abstract painting and the concrete motif creates an interaction of perception.

The painting is indeed experimental, yet it is "slowed down" at certain boundaries. The outline of the hare is a kind of barrier when mixing colors. This makes the motif definitely perceivable. The choice of colors is not entirely random either: the animal motif is shown in the colors of itself and its surroundings. Thus, spontaneous form and color compositions arise within the framework of a concept. Since the motif is built only over part of the boundaries of the color mixtures, the eye repeatedly shifts to the abstract overall composition.

Facts about modern painting in "Rare Hare."

Despite the many colors, the modern animal motif is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance and up close.

The painting is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be immediately presented - with two nails in the wall. If you prefer to have a frame made for the painting, I recommend visiting a specialty store near you or ordering a frame online (50 x 40 cm is a standard size, so the range of frames will be very large).

The presentation of the artwork is authentic, but not perfect.

The shots you see above were taken by me - as best as I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original.

The photos showing the painting in the room were created using the "Smartist" app. This app can frame paintings and allows for a tidy, chic presentation in different rooms. The size ratio of painting to room is accurately reproduced. The painting is sold without a frame.

Feel free to visit me at the studio or at ARTLET if you would like to take a look at the original.

The free shipping.

The delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding areas) or the shipping of the artwork usually takes place on Tuesdays and is free of charge. If needed, a different date can be arranged. During (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage. Shipping is generally free of charge.
