Modern painting on the color palette becomes a source of inspiration.
The mental leaps triggered by the paint box as a symbol often lead many viewers back to their childhood. The title "Fire and Water" invites you to steer your own associations in a different direction without losing your personal touch. Experimental painting with vibrant colors.
My experimental painting on the oversized color palette creates a modern wall sculpture. The juxtaposition of colorful areas results inTensions in Form and ColorOn one side, there are the warm colors yellow and red, as well as white, and the cool colors green and blue, as well as black. These colors can be seen in slightly altered forms in almost every paint set. On the other side, there are the "used" paint set compartments, the colorful in-betweens, and the colored border area: here, primarily red, green, white, brown, and orange appear. The spatial effect of the colors (paintings) is further enhanced by the shadows cast by the wall object.
Canvases as the foundation for building the paint box.
The paint box was made from wooden slats, canvas, and small frames. The wall sculpture"Swamp"measures 87 x 80 cmand was established in 2022 in Wiesbaden.First, I glued and screwed together the color swatches, the canvas, and the different types of moldings.Acrylic and oil paints, glue, and binders were used for painting and processing the artwork.
