Modern painting on the paint box becomes a source of inspiration.
The mental leaps that the paint box generates as a symbol lead many viewers back toward childhood. The title "Swamp" is an invitation to steer your own associations in a different direction without losing your personal touch. Through the juxtaposition of graceful color fields, there arise Fields of tension in form and color. The result of experimental painting, the Symbolic power of the paint box as well as the guidance of a title (“Swamp”) invite you to associate freely. Once set in motion, the imagination can be stimulated in many different ways in the viewer.
Experimental painting with bright colors.
With my experimental painting on the oversized paint box, a modern wall sculpture is created. Through the juxtaposition of colourful areas of paint, there arise Tensions in form and color. On one side, the warm colors yellow and red as well as white, and the cool colors green and blue as well as black. These colors can be seen, in slightly varied form, in almost every paint box. On the other side, the “used” paint-box pans, the colorful spaces in between, and the colored border area: here, above all red, green, white, brown, and orange appear. The spatial effect of the colors (painting) is further enhanced by the shadows cast by the wall object.
Canvases as a Basis for Constructing the Paint Box.
The paint box was constructed from wooden strips, canvas, and small frames. The wall sculpture measures 87 x 80 cm and was created in 2022 in Wiesbaden. I first glued and/or screwed together the paint pans, the canvas and the different types of strips. Acrylic and oil paints, glue, and binders were used for painting and processing the artwork.

The shipping of the artwork usually is free of charge. During the (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Shipping pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage.

Within a 25 km radius, paintings are also personally delivered by me. Installation appointments can best be arranged by phone after placing an order.

I have been a freelance artist since 1997 and have explored a variety of themes in painting. While until 2007 I was almost exclusively engaged in expressive painting, today my focus is more on modern, experimental art.
