A source of inspiration in art: the colorful paintbox.
The mental leaps evoked by the paint box as a symbol often lead viewers back to their childhood. The title "The Farewell" invites one to steer their own associations in a different direction without losing the personal touch. The colorful paint box, art of a most unusual kind, becomes a source of inspiration—from the concrete to the abstract.
The canvas as the foundation for the large-format color box.
The large-format paint box was constructed from wooden slats, small canvases, a large canvas, and chipboard. The painting object"The Farewell"measures 36.2 x 48 x 1.2 inchesand was established in 2012 in Mainz.First, I glued and partially screwed together the chipboard and the various types of moldings. The color swatches are modified small canvases. To create a surface that looks as realistic as possible, they are coated with adhesive concrete and pthick layers of acrylic paint grounded. Then they were "sealed" with glue. Acrylic and oil paints, glue, and a final varnish were used for painting and finishing the artwork.
Tensions in Form and Color - Abstract Painting on the Paintbox.
With abstract painting on the oversized paint box, modern object art is created - a painted sculpture for the wall. The juxtaposition of graceful color fields createsTensions in Form and ColorOn one side, the primary colors yellow, red, and blue accompanied by orange, green, black, pink, brown, and white. These colors can be seen in this or a similar arrangement in almost every paint box. On the other side, the 'used' compartments of the paint box, the colorful gaps, and the colored border area. The spatial effect of the colors through contrasts is further enhanced by the resulting (real) shadows of the box.
Free shipping - not just in Wiesbaden, but nationwide.
Delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding areas) or shipping of the artwork within Germany generally takes place on Tuesdays and is free of charge. If needed, another date can be arranged. During school holidays in Hesse, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery breaks will be announced in the header of the homepage.
The abstract painting can be displayed in any orientation - it has no "top" or "bottom."
There is no 'top' or 'bottom'; the abstract image can be displayed in any orientation. That's why the painting or object is signed on the back. A varnish protects the artwork from color changes. If there is a lot of light facing the painting sculpture, such as from a window, the glossy varnish should be replaced with a matte varnish. For optimal presentation, ensure there is space around the painting. The width of the wall space, including the painting, should be at least 3 meters and no more than 6 meters.
