A source of inspiration in art: Colorful painting on the paint box.
The mental leaps that the paint box already triggers as a symbol often lead many viewers back to childhood. The title “The Last Snow” is an invitation to steer your own associations in a different direction without losing your personal touch. The colorful paint box becomes a source of inspiration – from concrete to abstract.
The paint box becomes modern, abstract art.
Through the juxtaposition of graceful color fields, tension fields in form and color emerge. Through experimental painting on the oversized paint box, modern abstract art is created as a wall sculpture. The result of the experimental painting, the symbolic power of the paint box and the guidance of a title invite you to associate freely. Once the imagination is sparked, it can be stimulated in many different ways in the viewer.
The construction of the paint box.
The paint box was built from wooden slats, canvas and small frames. The wall sculpture "Der Letzte Schnee" measures 100 × 90 cm and was created in 2024 in Wiesbaden. I first glued or screwed together the color compartments, the canvas and the different types of slats. Acrylic and oil paints, glue and binder were used to paint and work the piece.

The shipment of the artwork is free of charge. During the (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage.

Within a 25 km radius, paintings by me are also personally delivered. Installation appointments can best be arranged by phone after ordering.

While I was almost exclusively focused on expressive painting until 2007, today my emphasis is more on modern, experimental art.
