“In the Pondroom” was created in 2007 in Berlin and shows hybrid creatures facing each other in an “aquatic space.” Expressive surrealism in oil paints: powerful, animalistic portraits.

About the Artist Mark Hellbusch
I have been a freelance painter since 1997 and have explored a wide range of themes in painting. While I was almost exclusively focused on expressive painting until 2007, my emphasis today is more on experimental art.
