An unusual way to showcase art.

The experimental landscape painting "Marsfeld XXVII" measures 15.7 x 11.8 inches and consists of paint remnants and binder. The paint remnants used for this painting are colorful. Acrylic paints, oil paints, and lacquer remnants interact in various ways in terms of color, form, and size. The paint remnants range from about 0.1 cm to 0.2 cm in diameter. It is the gaps and recesses of the paint remnants that create an unusual texture. This allows art to be showcased in a unique way. Here are some key details about the painting.

An experimental painting made from paint remnants.

From afar, the work initially appears to depict an earthy or sandy surface. As you get closer, you realize that the work is completely colorful and made up of small paint remnants. The abstract painting becomes more concrete upon closer inspection: thoughts of wind, water, and natural erosion come to mind.

Modern art for an unusual ambiance.

"Marsfeld XXVII" makes the biggest impact in a bright room. The unusual spatial quality - the texture (three-dimensional) combined with the contrasts (two-dimensional) - creates a special ambiancethat can only be gradually explored. The spatial effect is extremely subtle, giving off a very fine, elegant, and stimulating vibe, which you can purchase at an affordable price.

The Marsfeld series can also be beautifully displayed in vertical or horizontal rows.

This type of modern art is not accessible to everyone. Nevertheless, the result of experimental painting can spark curiosity. The juxtaposition of old(paint remnants)and new(painting)and the title "Marsfeld" - incidentally a place of political conflict in ancient Rome - evokes associations around the terms "Mars" and "field."

The presentation of the artwork is authentic but not perfect.

The photos you see above were taken by me - as best as I could. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original. There is certainly room for improvement in lighting or resolution. I strive to provide an authentic image of the artworks.

The photos showing the painting in a room were generated using the "Smartist" app. This app can frame paintings and allows for a neat and stylish presentation in different rooms. The size ratio of the painting to the room is accurately depicted.

Feel free to visit me at the studio or at ARTLET if you would like to see the original.
